Return to the Land (RTTL) is a Private Membership Association (PMA) dedicated to preserving European heritage.

We proudly exercise our constitutional right to free association in multiple ways: We hold online conferences, we organize in-person events and meetups around the country, and we manage land allocation using LLCs that are owned by the residents of the land.

Why Should I Join?

One benefit of joining is that you become eligible to apply to join RTTL Land Associations, which own large private properties owned and operated by their residents, using the versatile LLC structure to own the land and operate as an expense-sharing agreement (ESA) for common elements such as access roads. It’s important to note that we don’t engage in or advertise any real estate transactions - everything is done using private property that we already own.

Aside from networking in general, another benefit is that PMA members can attend our events throughout the year, including family campouts and conferences.

Applying to Join

RTTL is a private club that is exclusive in its membership criteria. Membership is not open to the general public. You may apply by filling out the application form at the website linked above. We also recommend joining the group for non-members on Telegram (also linked above.)

Interview

After filling out your application, you will receive instructions on how to be interviewed. You will join a Telegram chat, express your desired date and time, and do a voice interview with an RTTL board member or appointed interviewer. We request that you are able to show video for at least a short time, so that we can confirm your stated ancestral heritage.

Board Vote

The RTTL Board of Trustees will vote based on your questionnaire and interview. The interview is not recorded, but the person who carried out the interview will provide feedback to the board.

Member Agreement and Dues

If you are voted in, you will be sent an email with a link to e-sign your PMA Member Agreement. This Member Agreement contains instructions on how to pay your one-time $25 lifetime membership dues. Upon e-signing the Member Agreement and paying your dues, you will officially become a member, and will be added to the RTTL members-only Telegram chat.

You will then be eligible to attend our events, apply to join an RTTL Land Association, and network with fellow PMA members.

Can I join using a pseudonym?

Yes, you can.

Why do you use Telegram? Didn't Durov sell out to the ADL after being kidnapped by the French?

It was the easiest for us starting out. We hope to switch to self-hosted Matrix. We are in need of more web developers to help with our many projects. If you have any relevant experience, please contact us after joining the PMA so that we can put your talents to use.

If I'm kicked out of RTTL, do I lose my share in the Land Association that I joined?

Not automatically, and not unless your reason for being expelled from RTTL is a similarly grave violation of your LLC's operating agreement. Please read our related article on this topic for details.

Does my wife have to apply separately?

Married couples and their children are considered to be members if the head of household applies and is accepted. The only exception would be if your spouse or adult children would not generally be eligible for PMA membership if they did apply separately, due to their political views or other disqualifying factors.
